Mark Andy Print Products, the supplies and platemaking equipment division of Mark Andy Inc., has established a prepress and platemaking technology area as a key part of its show room in St. Louis, MO, USA. The technology area features an Esko Cyrel Digital Imager (CDI) Spark 4835 with Full HD Flexo, DuPont Cyrel Exposure frame with DigiFlow  a and DuPont Cyrel thermal FAST processor and are all sold through Mark Andy Print Products.

The expanded show room and technology area has been developed to provide hands-on tools to educate converters, specifically focusing on the advantages of in-house platemaking and the value it brings to productivity and profitability. Combining these technologies allows Mark Andy Print Products to optimize the entire consumable package for converters.

Suppoting this initiative is the fact that Mark Andy is the first global flexo machine manufacturer to become Full HD Certified by Esko. Certification was awarded in March 2014 after Esko specialists verified the quality of several print samples against published Full HD Flexo parameters. The Full HD Certified quality seal supports the expertise of prepress and platemaking knowledge Mark Andy Print Products offers to converters interested in taking platemaking in-house.
